Pastor Ben here,
I feel like I should have made a lot more posts throughout the month may, because the month was filled with events and excitement.
The month started off with the 5K on the 3rd of May. Trinity Peace Parish gathered together with North Beaver Creek Lutheran and Blair Lutheran for worship in the park, a 5K fun run/walk, and a concert in the park by Them Coulee Boys. By the end of the day, we raised over $4000 for the ELCA Malaria Campaign!
Memorial Day through that next Sunday was a busy week for our little community. The American Legion put on a wonderful Memorial Day service for our service men and women who have put their lives on the line for us and our country. The Taylor community gathered for the opening of Taylor Old Fashioned Days that Thursday night where Queens, attendants, and Little Miss and Little Mr. Taylor were crowned.
While all that was going on, the our synod, the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin, gathered for our annual Synod Assembly in Eau Claire. All in all, it was a busy and wonderful month!
